Next Realty, LLC, announced that Big Lots has finalized a lease for 28k SF in the Sports Authority Center at East Lincoln Highway and Colorado Street in HobartIndiana. The closeout retailer will join Sports Authority and Chicago Home Fitness in the 84k-SF center

NFI, a third-party-logistics provider, has signed a lease for 93k-SF at 27143 S Baseline Road in Elwood. The 214k-SF facility is located in the CenterPoint Intermodal Center  and is part of a portfolio owned by  Australian-based Mirvac Industrial Trust. NAI Hiffman's Dan Leahy  and Adam Roth  represented Mirvac Industrial Trust. CBRE's John Suerth represented NFI.

Paine/Wetzel ONCOR International's Whit R. Heitman and Samuel C. Badger, Jr. completed an industrial sale transaction on behalf of Earth Friendly Products for a 100k-SF facility at 111 S. Rohlwing Road in Addison. Entre Commercial Realty's  John Gazzola repped seller Minuteman International.

Divane Bros. Electric Co. is relocating into a 40k-SF facility at 2700 W. Roosevelt Road in Chicago. Paine/Wetzel 's Rodger D. Chenore,Jeffrey Girling, and Terence K. Lynch represented Divane Bros. Electric Co. while the landlord was represented by Cook Financial.

Tru-Spec Metals is relocating into a 31k-SF space at 3210 Oak Grove Avenue in Waukegan. Paine/Wetzel's Whit Heitman  and Samuel Badger, Jr. repped the landlord, ING. Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler's Chris Volkert represented the tenant. 

 

Companies

Englewood Construction  announced that its paperless project management software system has saved it more than $150,000 in printing costs alone. The system allows clients, subcontractors, and architects working on the same project have access to all necessary documents in one shared electronic folder hosted on Englewood's web site. Once a project is complete, the job is stored indefinitely, so information can be accessed months or years later.

Barbara Carley  has joined Cushman & Wakefield as Managing Director and regional lead, Investor Services within the firm's Global Client Solutions Group. Barbara was most recently at CB Richard Ellis, where she was managing director of Chicago?s Asset Services division; she oversaw a 50M-SF property management portfolio. Barbara has the Real Property Administrator designation and was a past member of the Board of Directors of BOMA/Chicago. She received her BA in Psychology from Valparaiso University.

Champion Realty's J.D.  Salazar has been selected as one of five finalists for the title of ?Latino Professional of the Year? in Chicago. Sales

AMB Corporation has sold a 39k-F industrial warehouse facility to NEP Electronics, a distributor of electronic components. The building is located at 795 Mittel Drive in Wood Dale, adjacent to NEP

Electonics' HQ, and was purchased for an undisclosed amount. NAI Hiffman's Brian Colson and Eric Fischer  repped AMB Corp..

Inland Real Estate Brokerage, Inc. announced the sale of 13k-SF retail center in Montgomery for $720,000. The three-tenant property, located near Route 30 and Douglass Road, is home to Merlin?s Muffler and Sound Experience, a car audio center. Inland's Rich Artman represented both the buyer and the seller, a real estate investment trust.
