Allison Bykowski joined Capital Properties Services LLC as general manager of the Inland Steel Building at 30 W. Monroe. She joins from human resources consulting firm Hewitt Associates, where she served as North American Site Services and Facilities Leader and has previously managed operations for Equity Office Properties, Golub & Company, Hines Interests, and CB Richard Ellis.

Leslie George has re-joined UGL Equis as a Senior Vice President. She had left for three years to work as a principal at Newmark Knight Frank. She was a member of the UGL Equis brokerage team from 1999-2006. Prior to 1999, Leslie was a tenured professional with Mesirow Stein Real Estate, and before that Miglin-Beitler.

Leasing
Transwestern's Suburban Agency Leasing team has signed two new leases.
- HQ Global Workplaces, LLC, a 24k-SF renewal at Columbia Centre I, 5600 River Road, Rosemont. The tenant was repped by CBRE's Baron Aldrine, Kevin Rogers, David Saad, and David Justh. Transwestern's Joe Stevens, Dan Svachula, Fred Ishler, and Zach Fox repped the landlord.
- A 15k-SF new lease for Fiserv Solutions, Inc. at Embassy Plaza, 1933 Meacham Road in Schaumburg. MedProperties Inc.'s Paul Kopecki and Transwestern's Keith Foery repped the tenant. Transwestern's Joe Stevens, Dan Svachula, Fred Ishler, and Zach Fox repped the landlord, Younan Properties.

Morgan Realty's Bill Waliewski recently completed three lease renewals and expansions within Woodridge Commerce Centre at 10204 Werch Drive in Woodridge. Morgan Realty is the exclusive leasing agent for the center.
- JFB Hart Coatings renewed its 6k-SF lease. The firm specializes in the distribution of coatings for flooring and metal products. JFB Hart Coatings was self-represented.
- Alltech Supply, a plumbing supply sales company, signed a new lease expanding its existing space from 2k-SF to 5k-SF. Alltech was self-represented.
- DS1 Motorsports, which provides performance enhancement for Subaru sports cars, has expanded its lease from 3k-SF to 6k-SF DS1 Motorsports was self-represented.

United Pipe & Steel Corp. has leased 112k-SF at 1200 Windsor Road in Loves Park in a deal valued at $1.5 million. Commercial Property Team LLC's Jim Jay repped the building owner, Hendricks Commercial Partners LLC and the tenant. The building is now 77% leased, with the remaining 128k-SF remaining listed.

Paine/Wetzel ONCOR International has completed a new 45k-SF lease for Crownhill Packaging Ltd. at 1696 S. Lakeside Drive in Waukegan. Paine/Wetzel's Whit R. Heitman, Samuel C. Badger, Jr., and Jason S. Weinhaus represented the landlord, Five Crowns Capital. NAI Hiffman's Steve Sullivan represented Crownhill Packaging.

Management
ProLogis Park O?Hare Building One in Chicago has received a new LEED Core and Shell Gold certification from USGBC. The newly developed, 257k-SF distribution center recycled 95% of construction waste, using recycled materials for 31% of the building, and using local resources for 50% of the building.
Sales
Paine/Wetzel ONCOR International completed a 2.82-acre industrial sale at 2000 W. 43rd Street in Chicago. Seven D Construction has purchased the land in Chicago?s Stockyards Industrial Park and plans to rehab the existing office buildings and use the land for equipment storage.
The seller, Mr. Mike Kibler, was represented by Paine/Wetzel's Michael D. Nelson and Mark A. Nelson. The company has also recently sold another location within the Stockyards Industrial Park, located at 1950 W. 43rd Street, and has two other locations on the market at 1800 W. 43rd Street and 1900 W. 43rd Street.

Inland Real Estate Brokerage, Inc. has been retained by the Village of Libertyville to sell two land parcels, totaling over 30 acres, via a sealed-bid auction. The adjoining parcels, 25 and 5 acres respectively, border the Libertyville Sports Complex on the northeast corner of Peterson Road and Route 45 in Libertyville, Ill. The deadline for bids is Tuesday, November 3, 2009.
Construction
Morgan / Harbour Construction completed a new 121k-SF two-story, build-to-suit public works facility for the Village of Wheeling. It's situated on nearly 12 acres located at 77 W. Hintz Road, replacing the old center at 233 W. Hintz Road. Upgrades within the building include ample indoor storage space for trucks and equipment, a more efficient floor plan for the administrative offices, and three acres of outdoor storage space for salt domes, a fuel island, equipment storage, and other machinery.
