Leasing
Arthur J. Rogers & Co.'s Jeanne Rogers has completed a 110k-SF industrial lease renewal and a new 60k-SF industrial lease on behalf of Exel Direct. In addition, she signed a 74k-SF industrial lease to AT&T valued at $13M. The first Exel lease is at 2350 Prospect in Aurora; the smaller one is at 2370 Northwest Parkway in Elgin. AT&T?s new location is at 929 W. Cermak Road in Chicago.

Paine/Wetzel ONCOR International has completed a new 63k-SF lease at 1081 Northpoint Blvd. in Waukegan on behalf of Emergent Technologies. Paine/Wetzel's Whit R. Heitman and Samuel C. Badger, Jr. represented the landlord, 1081 Northpoint, LLC. Emergent Technologies was represented by H&B Realty.

Paine/Wetzel ONCOR International has completed a 2k-SF industrial lease expansion on behalf of Orion?s Mind LLC at 1452 W. Willow Street in Chicago. The company's new space is adjacent to its existing 6k-SF corporate offices at 1454 W. Willow Street, a lease signed last year. Paine/Wetzel's Albert Schulman along with Michael D. Nelson represented landlord Elston Industrial Lofts LLC. Orion?s Mind was represented by Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler's Mike Senner.

Arthur J. Rogers & Co.'s Chris Zannis completed two new industrial leases within Rogers Business Parke-Elgin at 2541 Technology Drive:
- Morton International, Inc., the Chicago-based salt manufacturer, leased 9k-SF of office space. Chris represented ownership; Grubb & Ellis' Craig Cassell and Phil Palmer represented Morton.
- Chris also completed a 5k-SF lease for Plasmatreat US LP. Plasmatreat was self-represented.
Construction
Reed Construction was selected to complete an interior build-out on the 17th floor at One South Dearborn in Chicago on behalf of Constellation Services and its affiliate Crown Imports. The 70k-SF project is scheduled for completion in 1Q '10. Reed's Michael Tenuta is the project executive overseeing the construction. Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, LLP is providing the architectural services. Crown Imports LLC is a joint venture that imports, distributes and markets the Modelo portfolio and other beer brands.

Morgan / Harbour Construction broke ground on a 43k-SF building remodel for the Village of Wheeling?s Police Department. The project will include a new 911 Center and renovated locker room. Construction is scheduled for completion in the spring 2010. Morgan/ Harbour's Warren Seil will oversee; Camburas & Theodore is providing the architectural services.

Reed Construction was selected to complete an 8k-SF build-out on behalf of Cunningham, Meyer & Vendrine on the 22nd Floor of One East Wacker in Chicago. Jones Lang LaSalle's Bill Sheehy represented the law firm in the lease negotiations. Reed's Cliff Kilboy, is the project executive overseeing the construction. Garnett Associates, LLC is providing the architectural services. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2009.

ARCO/Murray National Construction Company, Inc has completed two build-outs on behalf of CBRE's Christine Lussow, KBS, and Cawley Chicago Commercial Real Estate's Cody Sundberg and Rawly Lantz. 11k-SF for Rx Solutions and 12k-SF for Vitas Healthcare at 2050 Finley Drive. ARCO/Murray was contracted to complete the interior build-out, consisting of interior office renovations, modern executive offices, and conference rooms. ARCO/ Murray's Joe Pomerenke was project executive with Chris Niedhammer as lead Project Manager. Whitney Architects provided the architectural services.

ARCO/Murray National Construction Company, Inc has completed a 50k-SF tenant improvement for Wrightwood Capital at 645 Heathrow Drive on behalf of Wrightwood Capital's Jason DeFilippis. ARCO/Murray was contracted to complete the interior remodel of the existing 7k-SF office space and retrofitting 50k-SF of warehouse lighting with six lamp T-5 fixtures. ARCO/Murray's Joe Pomerenke was the project executive with Chris Niedhammer as the lead Project Manager. CBRE's Jack Hazdra and Martin Rada were the property managers for the building.

Horn Design completed an 8k-SF interior design at 125 South Wacker for The Burwood Group, a technology consulting firm that specializes in IT management and infrastructure solutions. Transwestern's Corby Marx and Henry Lee represented Burwood, and Leopardo completed the construction.

Margaret M. Soliz has joined ecological restoration firm Pizzo & Associates, Ltd as a sales associate. She brings more than 30 years of experience, focused primarily in the construction and land development sectors. Prior to joining the firm, Soliz was the owner of The Soliz Group, a real estate marketing and sales company. She has a bachelor's degree from Wisconsin ? Stout. She has been a licensed real estate broker in Illinois since 1977.

Branson Edwards has joined Grubb & Ellis Company as EVP, managing director of the company's Retail Occupier Services Group. Branson brings 19 years of experience that includes executive positions in the retail and retail real estate services industries. Most recently, he was managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle's Retail Outsources Services. He founded retail real estate services company The Standard Group, which merged with JLL in early 2008. Branson holds a bachelor's degree from Duke University and an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina.

Mark Heisler joined Paramount Lodging Advisors as a managing director from Hostmark Hospitality Group, where he had primary responsibility for Hostmark's new hotel development efforts and also developed new third-party management business and provided consultative services to clients with distressed hotel assets. He was previously with Starwood Hotels & Resorts; he led Starwood's franchise development efforts in a 22-state region.

Michael Kitchen joined Paramount Lodging Advisors as an Associate, focusing primarily on hotel brokerage and hotel consulting services. Michael will be working under Daniel Beider, Chairman and Senior Managing Director, facilitating hotel transactions in the United States. Prior to joining Paramount, Michael worked as an Associate at Four Corners Advisors in Chicago, where he provided a variety of hotel consulting services both domestically and abroad. Michael is a graduate of The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State.

Maureen Ehrenberg has been named head of Global Facilities Management for the CBRE Global Corporate Services group. In this role, Ms. Ehrenberg will lead the firm's Global Facilities
Management service line, assisting CBRE's corporate, healthcare, and public sector clients who seek change in managing their facilities and related functions as a means to streamline operations and reduce operating expense. She conducted graduate-level research in international economics at The City University in London, where she completed her bachelor's degree with joint honors in economics and accounting.
