LaSalle Investment Management acquired a 627k SF warehouse at I-94 and Highway 158 in Kenosha, Wisc. The purchase price was undisclosed. CBRE's Keith Puritz, Brett Kroner, Ryan Bain, andZach Graham will market the property. The sale includes land to build another building up to 650k SF. *** Newcastle acquired 2727 N Pine Grove, a 48-unit apartment building in Lincoln Park, for $5.9M. Newcastle purchased the property with its$500M Chicago real estate investment fund. The all-cash deal closed in 60 days, and Newcastle plans to improve the units and common areas over the next two years. Apartment Investment Advisors' Jack Cassin and Bill Cassin repped Newcastle. *** KTR Capital Partners closed on the acquisition of 605 Territorial Dr in Bolingbrook. The 182k SF facility is 52% leased with 88k SFavailable between two adjacent units. *** The Boulder Group's Randy Blankenstein and Jimmy Goodmanrepped the seller of a single tenant net-leased Citizens Financial Bank property located in St. John, Ind. for $1.6M. - A 7,680 SF O’Reilly Auto Parts at 820 E Roosevelt Rd in Wheaton.
- A new 8,823 SF Advanced Auto Parts in Crystal Lake and a 6,920 SF Advanced Auto Parts at 696 E Roosevelt Rd in Glen Ellyn.
- A new Armani store on the fifth floor at Water Tower Place on Michigan Ave.
- Prep work at Fox Valley Shopping Mall in Aurora to remove the old John’s Garage restaurant to make way for a newCharming Charlie accessory store.
- A 654 SF Mrs. Fields/TCBY Yogurt and a 694 SF The Body Shop at Westfield Old Orchard in Skokie.
*** Reed Construction completed a multi-phased 25k SF renovation for the Fertility Centers of Illinois at 900 N Kingsbury. The facility required renovations after flood damage in July 2010. Improvements included the demolition and replacement of drywall, flooring, millwork, and painting. Reed's Jack Hennessy was the senior project manager and Bob Marks was the project superintendent. Atul KarkhanisArchitects provided the architectural services. *** Morgan / Harbour Construction Co completed the new vehicle maintenance operation facility for MV Transportation at 445-449 Randy Rd in Carol Stream. The team renovated two 12k SF single-story buildings for MV Transportation and a 16k SF parking lot expansion. Morgan/Harbour's Ben Warriner led the project and Lorin Van Nest was the project manager. Cornerstone Architects provided the architectural services and Jacob & Hefner Associates was the civil engineer. *** ARCO/Murray National Construction has completed a 5,500 SF office build-out for Protection One in Romeoville. The project was a relocation of the corporate HQ for Protection One and included upgraded wood, tile, and glass finishes throughout. ARCO/Murray'sPat Aylward served as lead project manager. *** ARCO/Murray National Construction has completed a 2,000 SFoffice expansion and a 4,000 SF office remodel for The Kellogg Coin Aurora. The project was completed in occupied office space and included upgrading existing finishes in common areas such as break rooms and bathrooms. ARCO/Murray's Pat Aylward served as lead project manager and Joe Pomerenke as business development. |
