Tricks From the Trade Show
We're up on the newest trends and projects in the industry after touring yesterday the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers fall trade show at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare. What we learned: Developments are still out there! |
Danger: The smiles at the CenterPoint Properties booth were so inviting, we bought two buildings. CenterPoint's Shannon Mullen,Alan Bouchier-Hayes, and Nicole Navarro are celebrating the groundbreaking of the new Joliet intermodal; it should be completed in 2010, with surrounding buildings to be developed soon. Skysite's Jeff Grossberg was also on hand, gauging the interest of industrial developers and brokers in green building technologies. |
Sharing trade information, Professional Building Services' Chad Charon, North Star Deferred Exchange Core's Kevin Kete, and American Door and Dock's Carig Herriges. Craig is working with a new dock door technology that uses buttons instead of levers (leaving one hand free for coffee, we presume). Kevin is working on a new kind of seller financing, since deferred exchanges have been slow. |
