WINNING ON WATER AND LAND
He won NAIOP Chicago's lifetime acheivment award last year, and now JLL's Len Caldeira has put another feather in his cap—he was on the winning team for the cruising division of the Race to Makinac. Len was a member of the eight-person "Jug Band" team that sailed a Jenneau boat to finish in 49 hours and 14 minutes—a team record by more than 16 hours. After handicaps, the team's corrected time was 44 hours and 1 minute, bringing it up from fourth to first in its division. In his life on land, Len is marketing the DuPage National Technology Park, which landed a starring role in the upcomingSuperman movie. (At this rate, they should just cast Len as Superman.) |
