Bear Construction Grows Its Team With Six New Hires
Bear Construction, a leading Chicago-based general contractor, recently added six new executives. The lineup includes project executives Christine Lussow and Catherine Hamilton, senior project manager Walter Johnson, and project managers Stacy Orr, Rick Turk and Neil Ribarchek.
The new hires are already tackling several high-profile tasks for Bear’s clients. Lussow is orchestrating the restoration and renovation of the Old Chicago Post Office lobby. A nine-story building designed by Graham, Anderson, Probst & White and built in 1921, the post office is on the National Register of Historic Places and has been featured in blockbuster movies like "The Dark Knight" and the "Tranformers" series.
Hamilton has started managing two tenant improvement projects at 150 North Riverside Plaza and a two-story white box with a new hydraulic elevator at Block 37, an urban shopping, dining and entertainment destination in the heart of Chicago’s Loop.
Johnson and Turk have taken on multiple city and suburban projects for various clients, while Orr and Ribarchek coordinate multiple build-outs and construct specialty projects out of Bear’s Milwaukee office for clients like Millbrook RE, Tishman Speyer and Riverview Realty.
The new executives will work to uphold Bear Construction’s mission to provide superior technical knowledge and customer service.
