Meridian Design Build completed construction on a 392K SF industrial development for Logistics Property Co. in Aurora.
The project is on a 30.7-acre site. Meridian designed the building to fit up to 56 loading docks, two drive-in doors, 403 auto parking stalls and 26 exterior trailer parking stalls.
Meridian teamed with Logistics Property Co. to finish the tenant improvement work. Partners in Design Architects provided architectural services, while Webster McGrath & Ahlberg offered civil engineering design services.

CRG, a Chicago-based real estate development and investment management firm, tapped Susan Bergdoll as its new senior vice president and partner for the Midwest industrial region. Bergdoll will help to develop the company’s speculative and build-to-suit warehouses in the Midwest for e-commerce, Fortune 500 and other clients. The Indiana University-Bloomington graduate has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience and oversaw Duke Realty’s $1.7B Midwest industrial portfolio.

Stream Realty Partners bolstered its roster of commercial real estate professionals by adding Erica Marshall to its Chicago office leasing team. Marshall, an industry veteran with over 11 years of experience, joins the company as a vice president. She will be responsible for sourcing, acquiring and executing office business across all service lines, concentrating on landlord representation.

SVN Chicago Commercial helped sell a mixed-use building in downtown Winfield at 0S050 Winfield Road. Jennifer Hopkins and Olivia Czyzynski of SVN Chicago Commercial represented the seller. The building sold for $2.25M, and the ground floor is fully leased by a variety of retail and restaurant tenants. The second floor is vacant office space previously occupied by one tenant.

Venture One Real Estate acquired a roughly 31K SF multitenant industrial building at 851 Industrial Drive in Elmhurst. The building is fully leased to seven tenants and features seven docks and 36 parking spots. Joe Bronson and Paddy Dwyer of NAI Hiffman represented the seller.
CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT
The Saint Grand, a 21-story mixed-use development in Streeterville, has topped off construction at 218 East Grand St. The project will add 248 luxury apartments to Streeterville, in addition to 45K SF of office space and 7,500 SF of street-level retail. The development is within walking distance of Lake Michigan and Michigan Avenue.
