Ryan Cos Tops Off 31-Story River North Apartment Tower
Ryan Cos and Lincoln Property, along with its primary equity partner, Daiwa House Texas, recently celebrated the construction progress of a 31-story apartment tower in River North with a topping off ceremony. The ceremony also served to announce the name of the building: Aurélien.
To date, 132 tons of steel beams have been used to shape the shell of the building. Additionally, 1,355 tons of rebar have been used, 20,150 cubic yards of concrete have been poured above grade, more than 500 panels of precast concrete have been installed, and 411,000 pounds of post-tensioning cables have been utilized.
Aurélien, at 833 North Clark St, is slated for a 2017 delivery. When complete, it will house 368 apartments: 78 studios and convertibles, 209 one-bedroom units, 75 two-bedroom units and six penthouse apartments.
