Community Meeting Set For Clybourn Avenue Multifamily Development
A vacant office building near a busy Lincoln Park intersection would become one of Chicago's newest low-rise apartment developments, if local residents approve. The former Chicago Costume building at 2300 N Clybourn would be torn down and an eight-story, 85-unit apartment building built on the site.
For that to happen, developers need a zoning change, DNA Info reports. The Sheffield Neighbors Association scheduled a community meeting for 7pm, May 26, at Little Sisters of the Poor, 2325 N Lakewood Ave, to gauge community support for the project.
The development would be near the bustling Clybourn Corridor retail district on the south and Riverpoint Center shopping mall to the immediate north. [DNA]
