InnerWorkings Moves From River North To The Loop
InnerWorkings is moving its global headquarters from 600 West Chicago in River North to the Loop. The marketing firm, which serves Fortune 1000 companies, signed a lease for 41K SF at 203 North LaSalle, a LEED Platinum building that recently underwent a $15M capital improvement project.
Jeff Dowdell, Eric Myers and William Briggs of Transwestern Commercial Services brokered the lease on behalf of the landlord.
“203 North LaSalle St. offers a better location for InnerWorkings’ headquarters and gives our team members immediate access to all CTA lines and nearby walkable amenities,” InnerWorkings Chief Human Resources Officer Renae Chorzempa said in a release.
The Transwestern leasing team secured more than 75K SF of new leases for 203 North LaSalle in the last six months. This latest transaction brings the building to 71% leased, up from 59% when TCS was awarded the leasing and property management assignment. There is a 170K SF block available.
“203 North LaSalle St. is in position to capture the interest of growing tenants, like InnerWorkings, seeking large floor plates, new amenities and access to the city’s workforce,” Dowdell said.
The 625K SF Class-A office tower at LaSalle and Lake now has an updated lobby and retail concourse, a new conference center and tenant lounge, and a new state-of-the-art fitness facility.
Mohr Partners Inc.’s Brandon Glick, Chris Bargowski and Sam Picchiotti represented InnerWorkings.
