Fish Tales, Part IV
The Telos Group SVP Matt Pistorio caught this northern pike on New Year’s Day, up at his family’s lake house in Elkhorn, Wis. Caught on a six-inch sucker, it was the fish heard ‘round the county, measuring 43” and 23 lbs. The fish fought for 15 minutes, and Matt had to use his hands in 15” of ice to squeeze its 10” belly through an 8” hole. (Sounds like putting on skinny jeans.) When Matt’s not on the water (he has a 17’ Crestliner), he’s working on the massive redevelopment of Prudential Plaza. There’s 700k SF to lease, and new features will include a 15k SF rooftop park overlooking Millennium Park and a 12k SF fitness center.
Cushman & Wakefield senior director of retail services Luke Molloy caught this 54” x 27" muskie in Northern Minnesota last fall. It was late November, the temperature was below freezing, and the unusually large fish was a big surprise (let’s call it the fish’s winter weight). At the office he’s part of the team preparing to sell 10 S State St (Urban Outfitters, Forever XXI, Office Depot) and leasing up the existing 15k SF Urban Outfitters space at the corner of Rush and Walton. (Urban is moving to anchor the new project on the former Hunt Club site, 1100 N State St.) Luke and his team also recently brought Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana, CH Carolina Herrera and other luxury tenants to the Esquire Theater retail project.
