On The Ground In Sochi
M&R Development and RMK Management prez Tony Rossi Sr. (left) is on the scene in Sochi, and sent us this pic snapped with good friend and Russian hockey legend Vladislav Tretiak. Considered to be the best goalie of all time by many (he played against the “Miracle On Ice” team in Lake Placid), Vlad had the honor of lighting the torch for Russia at the opening ceremony. Currently president of the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia, he also served as our own Hawks’ goaltender coach for a number of years. Tony’s no stranger to the Olympics. He’s been on the board of USA Hockey for the past 30 years, overseeing world championship and Olympic teams for the past 12 years.
