Eisenberg Foundation Dinner Raises $500k
Over 700 people attended the 17th annual Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation fundraising dinner at the Palmer House Hilton. The event raised over $500k to benefit the organization’s dual mission of funding gastrointestinal cancer research and advancing real estate education. During the event, the foundation announced a new real estate scholar program, which will give three outstanding students the opportunity to work closely with real estate pros, aimed at launching their careers in real estate. Those students will each receive $5k scholarships. This new program is in addition to the foundation’s standard scholarship commitment, which has provided over $250k in scholarships to date.
Part of the event’s proceeds contribute to research programs at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center, where the foundation funds a gastrointestinal cancer tissue bank.
