Waterton CEO Helps Raise $5.9M for Holocaust Museum
Waterton co-founder and CEO David Schwartz (right) and wife Jamie Diamond Schwartz were the co-chairs of the Risa K. Lambert "What You Do Matters" luncheon last week at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers. The event raised $5.9M for the US Holocaust Museum's "Never Again: What You Do Matters" program, which works to keep Holocaust memory alive as a transformative force in the 21st century. Among the speakers were Gov. Bruce Rauner, Mayor Rahm Emanuel (both were honorary co-chairs), Moroccan Ambassador to the US Rachad Bouhlal, and Jeffrey Goldberg (left), national correspondent for The Atlantic. More than 2,000 people attended the luncheon.
