AT THE BYRON
On Thursday, we visited villas at the Four Seasons overlooking the 18th green of the 2011 HP Byron Nelson Championship, checking in with Irving Economic Development Partnership and Capital Commerical. Also inside: Grubb & Ellis? Chris Wright, Daniel Rudd, Capital Commercial's Michael Brigance, more Grubb folks Trae Anderson and Billy Vahrenkamp as well as Capital Commercial's Rob Evans. Trae?s working to fill Gateway I & II for Capital Commercial. We also learned JLL?s Shannon Brown was recently awarded the leasing assignment for Capital Commercial's Oilwell Supply Building.
We snared Irving Economic Development Partnership biz dev queen Leanne Weymouth, Insperity?s Candi Richardson, and The Las Colinas Association's Rick Bidne. Latest big news in Irving is the HQ relocation from Farmers Branch for Celanese Corp, which signed a new 110k SF lease agreement at Urban Towers. It adds another Fortune 500 global HQ to the more than 45 already in Irving.
Primo seats made for some good networking opportunities and in case you missed it while grilling up your hot dogs, PGA Tour rookie Keegan Bradley won his first career victory when he parred the first playoff hole from the trees to beat Ryan Palmer. |
