The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded Dallas-based Leetex | Hill & Wilkinson a $14M contract for the design and construction of an Armed Forces Reserve Center in Lewisville. On a 15-acre site near the southwest corner of F.M. 407 and Summit Avenue, the project is a 600-member training facility for five Army Reserve and Texas National Guard units. Atlanta-based Rosser International is the architect/MEP engineer, and Dallas-based Jaster-Quintanilla is the civil/structural engineer. Construction began Monday and will be completed by March 2011. The Corps of Engineers Fort Worth District will manage construction activities and the project will be designed and constructed to LEED Silver.
