CREW Dallas Turns 30
September 13, 2010
On Friday, we peeked in as Dallas CREW marked its 30th anniversary with most of its 300 members gathering at The Women's Museum to celebrate the past and look to the future. The organization has raised $2.8M for Dallas women's and girls' causes. Developer Lucy Billingsley presented the Outstanding Achievement Award to former Staubach Co. exec Ka Cotter. Other nominees: Riverstone Residential Group's Barb Erhart, Portfolio Development's Kennis Ketchum, and DFW Airport's Tiffini Miller. | |
Workers prepare for external improvements on the 70k SF Women's Museum, the nation's first comprehensive women's history museum. Located in Fair Park (which will host the State Fair Sept. 24-Oct. 17), it chronicles women throughout American history. CREW prez and Jackson-Shaw VP Jill Warren says CREW members constantly focus on the future, but adds that it's refreshing to draw upon the wisdom of the past 30 years. |
