| We promise this isn't the all-CBRE/Houston edition, but: CBRE Hotels Group's Bert Stevens and Lisa Hankamer repped the seller in the $4.3M transaction selling the Days Inn & Suites DFW North in Irving. The deal works out to about $32k per unit of the 134-unit (rooms and suites) property. Lisa tells us that the hotel's proximity to DFW Airport as well as the multiple business and corporate demand generators in the area drove interest on a national level from a large investor base. The new owner, Ambe Hotels, will retain the Days Inn & Suites flag and will spend more that $750k on upgrades. |
