DFW Airport Toll Plazas: You Don't Like Them
Two-thirds of you have been impacted by the DFW Airport toll plaza glitches, you told us in a survey we posted last week. And, no one has good things say about the $56M toll plaza travesty. Three of you even compared it directly to Obamacare. The majority of comments are critical of the time-lag now associated with using tolltags. One reader had an erroneous $167 fee and another had a $115 fee. Both were refunded eventually. Here's a sample of the responses:
*Delays, missed flights, meetings, etc.
*Several significant delays in getting out through the north toll plaza!
*Why on earth when I have a toll tag would I have to stop and wait for the arm to go up? Has not sped up the process and, in fact, I think has slowed it down... Can they install card readers like on the Tollway? That's the whole point of being able to the toll tag lane so you don't have to stop.
