Datacenter Park Dallas
May 27, 2010
Get out the big scissors: The ribbon was cut Wednesday on one of the largest datacenter complexes in the US, with the official opening of Digital Realty Trust's Datacenter Park Dallas complex in Richardson. DRT acquired a 60% JV interest in the redevelopment formerly known as Collins Technology Park. The seven-building,800k SF, 69-acre property also contains several developable land sites and a private substation with 40 MWs of immediate availability, expandable to up to 125 MW. The first phase includes improvements to a 106k SF structure and build out of six Turn-Key Datacenter PODs. Each POD will contain about 10k SF of raised floor and deliver 1125kW of critical load. |
