| The needle hasn?t moved much when it comes to special servicing loans, says Grubb & Ellis Texas executive managing directorMoody Younger. "I think the story is that the number of loansgoing to special servicing reduced slightly throughout 2010 [probably a positive sign],? he tells us. The fact that the trend is flat, not negative, hopefully means the market is not getting worse. (We'll take it!) It could also mean that more workouts were done toward the back half of the year than the first half. Either way, we still have a ways to go before the market becomes completely healthy, he concludes. |
