CBRE Investors-Strategic Partners now claims a portfolio-wide green sweep in Las Colinas, now that The Point (above) and The Summit (below), both Class A, earned LEED-EB. The Point, a 401k SF, 18-story tower got the certification about two weeks ago. CBRE Investors principal Darla Szalla says sustainability is a major factor for more and more companies in the decision about where to lease.

The Summit, a 19-story, 370k SF tower was awarded certification in late January. The firm's other Las Colinas office properties include Urban Towers (LEED Silver) and The Tower at Lake Carolyn (LEED EB). All four are managed and leased by CBRE, recently named #45 in Newsweek's 2009 Green Rankings of the nation’s Top 500 greenest companies. CBRE Investors-SP has eight LEED properties, three Silver, and one that recently earned Gold. Seven other Strategic Partners' buildings are pursuing the designation.
