IN MEMORY OF LEO CORRIGAN, JR.
Dallas CRE legend Leo Corrigan Jr died May 20 at the age of 85. His father founded Corrigan Properties in the early '20s, and Leo Jr assumed the reins, eventually passing them to his children. Republic Title of Texas' Libby Hunt Allred tells us Leo was a true leader in every sense of the word. He was a successful businessman, gave his time and money to many causes, was involved in his church, and was deeply devoted to his family. ?Leo was a legend in the global real estate community," says Henry S. Miller Brokerage's Darrell Hurmis. "Dallas was extremely fortunate to have him, not only for his development skills but for the behind-the-scenes philanthropic efforts most of us found out about just a couple of weeks ago when he was inducted into NTCAR Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame." He is survived by his wife Marilyn and five children. The memorial service was today, and the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the Southwestern Medical Foundation or Episcopal Diocese of Dallas - The Corrigan Fund. |
