IRVING DRIVES DEAL HOME

More Irving news came to us Friday that Motor Acceptance Corpsigned a new 225k SF long-term lease for office space at 8900 Freeport just before the year-end, making it the largest lease signed in the city in 2010. The property, owned by Lexington TNI Irving (an affiliate of Lexington Realty Trust), ensures Nissan will be there for another 13 years. The Chamber-managed Irving Economic Development Partnership worked toward an incentive proposal for a build-to-suit in Irving of a slightly smaller facility for the company and helped Nissan execs explore options for efficient space.
