NTCAR HALL OF FAME
We realized that people are made to wear name tags at these types of events, so the Tom Hanks of the world know who to model themselves after. We snapped Corrigan Properties' Leo Corrigan III and David Corrigan, WJH Co's Walt Humann, and KDC's Steve Van Amburgh before the NTCAR 2011 Hall of Fame induction and reunion Thursday at Brook Hollow Golf Club. Leo and David accepted a Hall of Fame award for their dad, Leo Jr. of Corrigan Properties, who was too ill to attend. Walt was presented the Lifetime Achievement Award and Steve was also named to the Hall of Fame.
In what could be the NTCAR Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame holiday card, we gathered the members who were present for the fete. The Hall of Fame was established in 1987 to honor CRE pros who have significantly affected and supported the brokerage community in DFW. HSM?s Darrell Hurmis—co-chairman of the Hall of Fame committee—says the 2011 inductees, Leo and Steve, ?epitomize what we all strive to be: smart, innovative business leaders.? Known as the Father of DART, Walt?s civic and cultural accomplishments exceed even his considerable business accolades, says HSM?s Robert Grunnah, also an event co-chairman.
