Protoype Design
June 22, 2010
Children's Medical Center Dallas selected HKS to design a 34k SF outpatient specialty center in Southlake to meet the demands of its growing patient base. The specialty care center, to be located in Southlake's Carillon development, will offer a number of specialty services. HKS principal Roy Gunsolus says the center is a prototype that can be developed throughout the Metroplex to help Children's serve additional growing populations. âThe Southlake location includes shelled ambulatory surgery space that will be developed as the patient population base is established,â he says. Ultimately, Children's plans to add additional services and expand to 70k SF. The project is the first children's ambulatory care center in North Texas to seek LEED certification, according to HKS. |
