| Houston-based Conti, which owns around a dozen multifamily assets in DFW, has acquired the Phoenix Place Apartments at 2601 Arroyo Ave in a strategic expansion move, Conti founder and prez Carlos Vaz tells our Houston reporter. It'll rename it Villa Torino and invest$700K in improvements. Conti's local focus is the City of Dallas, and Carlos tells us he likes the NW quadrant of the Metroplex, though he's also targeting northern submarkets in the Dallas area, TCU in Fort Worth, and the HEB area. Properties along or near the growing I-35 are also potential acquisitions. |
