CBRE's David Sours, Kevin Kelly, Tim Vogds, and Bob Scully negotiated the deal on behalf of the seller. *** Marshall Farms sold 2.66 acres of commercial land located at Firewheel Town Center in Garland to GRLRE LLC. CBRE's Jim Whitten and Marty Neilon represented the seller and SRS Real Estate Partners' Mark Newman represented the purchaser. *** A JV between Knightvest Capital and Panther Transaction Group(headed by Tommy Pigg and Doug Kincaid) acquired a 158-unit multifamily complex in southeast Dallas. Knightvest Capital targets distressed multifamily properties in Texas. The property, currently known as August Park Apartments, is at 2808 N. St. Augustine in Dallas, a foreclosure in need of capital improvements. The JV was able to acquire the property at a significant discount allowing them to invest in the necessary capital improvements, implement comprehensive property management solutions, and offer a market-leading product at very competitive rent rates. |

Relocation Glenmount Global Solutions relocated its corporate HQ from Irvine, Calif., to Irving, Texas. (We're assured it was on purpose and not a clerical error.) The relocation enabled the company to consolidate much of its executive and finance team in the Dallas area, and the financing provided capital needed for further expansion. New Business Stewardship Commercial Management has been selected to provide property management services at 700 Highlander. Located in close proximity to I-20 and The Highlands, the five-story, Class B,125k SF office building is situated in a heavily occupied medical, retail and restaurant district. SCM will also service Northstar, a two-story, Class B building that has full occupancy of 25k SF office space at 8721 Airport Frwy. SCM's Bret Messer, is the property manager for both properties. *** Gorrondona & Associates acquired LFC Houston expanding services to now include geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing as well as land surveying, subsurface utility engineering, utility coordination and GIS. Kudos RTKL's expansion design for Multiplaza Pacific-Luxury Avenue shopping center in Panama City, Panama, won the 'Honoree Award' in the Design and Development category at the annual International Council of Shopping Centers' (ICSC) Best-of-the-Best Awards. The winners were announced at the ICSC RECon Convention. The award recognizes outstanding examples of shopping center design and development, sustainability, marketing, and community service worldwide. The project was developed by El Salvador-based Grupo Roble, the largest shopping center developer in Central America, with 19 centers totaling about 5M SF.
