Spine Team Texas purchased the 6k SF 290 Miron Dr. in the Miron Grove Office Park in Southlake. The buyer plans to relocate and expand its current ambulatory surgery center. Located off of FM 1709 south of Southlake Town Square, the development consists of five buildings ranging in size from 3k to almost 6k SF, and is adjacent to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southlake. Realty Capital Corp. VP Tim Coltart says there is just one building left (in shell form) in Phase 1 of the development. Two other buildings at Miron Grove are leased with a newly finished out-office space of almost 2k SF ready for immediate occupancy. Sales Capital Investment Management bought 673 W. Pipeline Rd. in Hurst. Structure Commercial's Eric Deuillet represented the buyer and Alliance Commercial's Phillip Samples repped the seller. *** Austin-based The Dominion Golf Group purchased the Lantana Golf Club in Denton for an undisclosed amount. The club opened nine years ago to serve as the centerpiece of Republic Property Group's Lantana master-planned community. The property is in southern Denton County and was owned by Dallas-based Republic Property Group. The Dominion Golf Group formed four years ago and now manages five private golf clubs in Central Texas. *** Healthcare Trust of America purchased a medical office portfolio located in Denton and Lewisville for about $13.5M. The Denton medical office building is 36k SF facility located on the campus of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton. *** Pallas Partners VI LLC purchased an 80-unit apartment complex at 7112 Holly Hills Dr. in Dallas from RPP Holly Bend Apartments LLC. CB Richard Ellis' Chris Deuillet negotiated the sale on behalf of the seller. *** Wichita Falls Roast Beef purchased a 6k SF retail space at 4521 Kemp Blvd. in Wichita Falls, Kan., from National Retail Properties. People in the News Bill Reeves joined Hill & Wilkinson as director of safety and risk management. His appointment follows the retirement of Hill & Wilkinson's long-time safety director, Larry MacDonald. Bill has more than 17 years of experience in the construction industry. Financing The Houston office of HFF arranged a $9.2M refinancing for three self-storage facilities totaling 1,670 units located in Dickinson, Houston and Fort Worth. Working exclusively on behalf of Storage Choice, HFF associate director Colby Mueck placed the fixed-rate securitized loan with JPMorgan Chase Bank. The three properties include Storage Choice West Airport in Houston with 647 units; Storage Choice Mira Vista in Fort Worth with 547 units; and Storage Choice Dickinson in Dickinson with 476 units. New Business Irving City Council approved the capital improvement plan for the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas and an additional $1.6M for Las Colinas entertainment center developer Las Colinas Group. The Las Colinas Group plans to build a 5,200-seat live music and entertainment venue, and a plaza with 11 restaurants and public spaces. The project is expected to be completed in 2012. *** The creation of a new site for University Park Library has reached the point where a letter of agreement has been reached with the owners of The Plaza at Preston Center and the board of the Friends of the University Park Library. If approved, the agreement would call for the City of University Park to sell certain streets and alley rights-of-ways or easements in or adjacent to The Plaza in exchange for a second-floor library space of at least 15k SF to be owned by the City. The space would be part of a new commercial building in The Plaza, which will be solely financed and constructed by the center's owners. |
