Thank You for Five Years of DFW Bisnow
High fives, knuckle bumps, and a great big thank you for allowing Bisnow DFW to be part of your lives for the past five years. We are privileged to be a part of your world and ride the CRE cycles with you.
Dallas-Fort Worth was the fourth Bisnow market launched (behind DC, NYC, and Chicago) in October 2009 as part of a national expansion effort (with Houston and Boston following in December 2009). Created by Mark Bisnow (yes, it’s his real name), we strive to bring you the latest local commercial real estate news that is personality-driven and almost never boring. We started off in DFW doing a handful of events each year with about 5,000 subscribers, says Bisnow co-COO Will Friend. Today, circulation has grown to more than 25,000 subscribers with just one reporter, Tonie Auer, on the ground to bring you the local news. (That’s Mark surrounded by CREW leaders in Dallas in 2012; Beth Cassidy-Lambert, Gail Ayers to his left, and MaryBeth Shapiro and Diane Butler on his right.)
Bisnow has grown to host 15 events in the DFW market each year bringing some 5,000 of you together throughout the year to network and learn from industry experts on our panels. “We are humbled by this growth and so fortunate to have your support,” Will says. As we approach the fifth anniversary of our first DFW issue on Oct 26, we want to say thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives and welcoming us so warmly. Will wants to hear from you if there are ways we can improve our news, events, or your experience, please contact him at Will@bisnow.com or on his cell at 202-674-3706.
