Cushman Names Bret Bunnett as Interim DFW Region Leader
The revolving door of local brokerage leaders stopped briefly as Bret Bunnett was named acting regional managing director of Cushman & Wakefield’s Dallas-Fort Worth region. Bret steps into the role vacated by Steve Everbach, who left to take over the local Colliers International office after the departure of David Pinsel. Bret (pictured at Bisnow’s Power Women event last year with lauckgroup managing principal Anne Kniffen) will work with Cushman & Wakefield’s west region president Mike Smith to begin the search for a regional managing director who will fit within the long-term growth plans set for DFW. Bret landed at Cushman with the DTZ merger. Mike says Bret is a natural choice to take on this role. His 30 years of commercial real estate experience, extensive knowledge of the Texas market and his role as regional managing principal for DTZ make him the ideal choice to lead the executive search for Cushman & Wakefield’s next phase of growth.
