Caddo Holdings And Avison Young's Broker Party A Success, Indicates Growing Interest In The Mockingbird Corridor
Caddo Holdings and Avison Young recently showcased their $7M renovation of Mockingbird Towers, an upgrade that includes new common areas, a workout facility and a golf simulator. According to Caddo executives and the Avison Young leasing team, the event was a great success with a strong turnout.
“It really indicates the interest that is developing in the Mockingbird corridor,” said Avison Young principal Dale Ray. “It is a great place for a tenant that wants A-plus amenities and accessibility without outrageous cost.”
The office tenant rep brokers attending the event were all entered to win prizes, including a charter flight on a Cessna Citation. JLL's Calvin Hull, pictured holding the jet, emerged the big winner.
“I was caught flat-footed and totally surprised,” Calvin says. “I'm thinking about where I would like to go.”
Calvin is a 26-year veteran of the business, representing office users. He has closed 9M SF of lease transactions.
