Granite Properties To Redevelop Cedar Maple Plaza In Uptown
Granite Properties is set to bring a new mixed-use office-centric development to Uptown Dallas.
The developer plans to tear down three office buildings at Cedar Maple Plaza in Uptown, replacing them with a 26-floor, 623K SF office tower, two detached buildings with 16K SF for restaurants and an outdoor park.
The redevelopment project is expected to revitalize a prime Uptown Dallas site at 2323 Cedar Springs. Granite named the new development 23Springs in honor of two historic springs that traversed the property a century ago.
Granite expects to begin utility work this summer with construction set to launch in the first quarter of 2021. The architect of record is GFF, with DPR serving as general contractor.
“23Springs is designed with our customers and the community in mind offering an inspiring work environment through modern architecture and amenities. The redevelopment will contribute to the walkability in Uptown and create a new retail destination with restaurants, patios and a large park for everyone to enjoy,” Granite Properties Senior Managing Director Will Hendrickson said in a press release.
The luxury office tower at 23Springs will provide tenants and guests with an on-site coffee and wine bar, a luxury fitness studio, conference facilities and a customer lounge featuring a golf simulator.
