Here Comes Granite Park Six: A Luxury 415K SF Office Building Off Highway 121
Granite Properties announced plans to develop Granite Park Six, an 18-story, 415K SF office tower inside the 90-acre mixed-use Granite Park development in Plano.
The tower, which will front State Highway 121, joins an existing campus filled with 2M SF of Class-A office space, a 299-room Hilton Hotel and 150K SF of retail space.
Granite Properties selected architects BOKA Powell and HKS Architects to help the developer conceptualize what will be the tallest building in Granite Park to date.
The project, which is expected to begin construction early next year, will offer tenants a two-story lobby, a ground-level market café, a customer lounge, coffee service, a bar and a golf simulator.
In addition, the developer plans to include a large lecture hall with stadium seating, three conference rooms and a staffed fitness center with programmed exercise classes.
Granite and its architectural partners also incorporated a fifth-floor amenity deck with fully landscaped outdoor spaces to accommodate special events and gatherings.
“With Granite Park Six, we’re taking it to the next level with an innovative design, modern amenities and hospitality driven services that meet the needs of the customer of today,” Granite Properties Senior Managing Director Will Hendrickson said.
Granite, which already owns and operates more than 3.5M SF of office buildings in DFW, is in the process of finalizing its drawings and has hired Balfour Beatty to serve as general contractor.
