Iconic Gold Towers From Dallas TV Show Opening Are For Sale
It has been more than 40 years since a pair of sparkling gold glass buildings made their national debut in the opening of the popular TV series, Dallas.
Those same twin towers, known as Campbell Centre, are up for sale again, according to public property listings posted by CBRE.
The sale includes two 20-story office towers and 873K SF of Class-A office space adjacent to Central Expressway at Northwest Highway in Dallas. The iconic glass towers are only minutes away from the exclusive neighborhoods of Highland Park, University Park and Preston Hollow.
The property, built in the 1970s, recently underwent renovations and now offers tenants a modern lounge with a full-service grill and coffee bar, an attached fitness center and updated conference rooms.
Campbell Centre is 80% leased, according to CBRE, and has a mix of national and regional tenants with no single tenant leasing more than 6% of the entire property. The buildings also have a 3.5-year weighted average lease term, CBRE noted in its listing.
CBRE is marketing the property as high-profile urban infill with credit quality tenants and the type of space needed to attract tenants relocating from the Uptown and Preston Center office markets.
The property’s owner is Campbell Centre LLC, an entity the Texas State Comptroller links to New York real estate developers and investors Brook and Sinclair Haberman. Manhattan-based Haberman & Haberman bought the towers in 2016, CBRE confirmed to Bisnow.
