VanTrust Launches 1.2M SF South Fort Worth Logistics Hub
Developer VanTrust Real Estate is betting on logistics with the launch of its second 1M-plus SF speculative industrial development in Dallas-Fort Worth in three months.
The developer broke ground on the 75-acre Fort Worth Logistics hub, a two-phase, 1.2M SF project located off Interstate 35 on Risinger Road in South Fort Worth.
Phase 1 includes the build-out of a 670K SF spec logistics facility, scheduled to open in July. Phase 2 launches in the next few months, with the goal of building out a second 606K SF logistics asset.
“South Fort Worth offers an abundance of resources, making the market highly competitive in North Texas,” VanTrust Executive Vice President Bill Baumgardner said in a written statement. “With its great connectivity to major interstates and access to an unmatched labor force, south Fort Worth is one of the area’s most prominent logistic locations.”
VanTrust broke ground on another 1M SF speculative industrial building in South Dallas in July. The project, known as DalParc Logistics Center, is intended to feed the growing demand for e-commerce space in DFW.
CBRE's Nathan Lawrence, J. Scott Moore and Krista Ray are handling leasing for Fort Worth Logistics Hub, while Bob Moore Construction is handling the site's build-out. The architect behind the spec development's design is Alliance Architects, with Pacheco Koch serving as its civil engineer.
