$250M Hospitality Center With 600-Room Hotel To Anchor American Airlines Campus
When American Airlines opens its 300-acre corporate campus in Forth Worth, employees will be able to do far more than just work there.
The campus is expected to also include a $250M hospitality center with a 600-room hotel for employees and a training conference center, the Dallas Morning News reports.
The development will incorporate a 620K SF building filled with office space, service amenities and hotel space, the DMN reports. The airline will also have a 131K SF conference and training center for employees. American Airlines executives will sit down with Bisnow on Wednesday to discuss what it will be like inside the airline’s new campus in Fort Worth.
The developer of the new American Airlines headquarters, Crescent Real Estate, will build the 1.7M SF campus designed by architect Cesar Pelli, Crescent announced on its website.
American will be opening a main portion of the campus for employees this summer and expects to break ground on the hospitality center within a couple of months, Bisnow has learned. The process of building out the hotel and hospitality center is expected take about two and a half years.
This new campus construction project is designed to replace the existing facilities where American Airlines offered employees a place to lodge while in town for work or training. The hotel and amenities will be designed specifically for American Airlines staff.
