Frisco To Become Next Asian Foodie Destination
NewQuest Properties is turning Frisco into Asian foodie paradise. It's developing a 110k SF retail center just northeast of the Preston Road and Warren Parkway intersection with three Asian grocer/restaurant anchor tenants. The nine-acre Frisco Ranch center will break ground in October.
99 Ranch Market pre-leased 45k SF, Daiso Japan pre-leased 10k SF, and 85°C Bakery Café pre-leased 3k SF. The trio also anchors NewQuest's Carrollton Town Center, which is a prototype for this center. Frisco Ranch will be the third store in Dallas for California-based Asian supermarket 99 Ranch Market and home goods retailer Daiso Japan. 85°C Bakery Café, a bakery and coffee concept from Taiwan, opened its first Texas location in Carrollton last month.
NewQuest's Heather Nguyen and John Nguyen repped the developer in the land acquisition from Lebanon JV. Callaway Architecture designed Frisco Ranch. It will deliver in summer 2017.
As of Jan. 1, 11% of Frisco's 153,000 residents were Asian-American.
