The newly acquired building will serve as the NoPiers.com headquarters as well as an investment property. Duggan Realty’s LJ Erickson repped the seller.

Taylor Cantrell joined Venture as an assistant vice president, with a focus on specialty retail tenant representation. He was previously with Transwestern. Grant English joined Venture in brokerage services. Prior to Venture, English worked at Altschuler and Co.

8305 Sovereign Row Partners sold 8305 Sovereign Row to Mojo Realty. Mercer’s Jeremy Mercer repped the seller for the 22K SF property. Lee & Associates’ Stephen Williamson repped the buyer.

Marcus & Millichap sold Park Glen Medical & Professional Office Park, a 9K SF medical and professional office at 5407 Basswood Blvd. in Fort Worth. Marcus & Millichap’s Wayne Bares and Cody Payne had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor.

Rowan Properties closed on the 72-unit Spring Creek Apartments in Dallas. Rowan Properties repped both the seller, a long-term, California-based owner and the purchaser, a local investment group.
LEASES
An international retailer executed a short-term lease for 10K SF of office space at 1400 Hillcrest Drive in Arlington. SVN/Dunn Commercial’s Lee Wandel repped the landlord, Mariah Group. Jennifer Frank of Segovia Retail Group repped the undisclosed tenant.

Life Time Fitness planned its first Fort Worth location at Alliance Town Center. The 130K SF, two-story development broke ground last week and will open in mid-2018.

Energy provider Stream moved its headquarters from the Infomart building in Dallas into Cawley Partners' brand-new Tollway Center at 14675 Dallas Parkway in Dallas. Stream’s Class-A headquarters, designed by Corgan, is 55K SF.

Mohr Partners renewed and extended the lease of Krage & Janvey at 2100 Ross Ave. This is the second lease renewal and new lease for the firm’s 14K SF office on the 26th floor, which will take the firm through October 2027. Mohr Partners’ Matt Burton repped Krage & Janvey. MPI also worked with Altschuler and Co.'s Sam Meginnis, John Altschuler and Mike Dement, who repped the proper owner.
DEVELOPMENT
McCarthy Building Cos. topped out Southwest’s new office building and Leadership Education and Aircrew Development Center and delivered the first flight simulator. The overall project is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2018.
