This Week's Dallas-Fort Worth Deal Sheet

Comerica Bank extended its lease at its namesake tower at 1717 Main St. The Dallas-based financial services company renewed 222K SF through September 2028.

Comerica’s Michael Venetis and CBRE’s Phil Puckett, John Woolsey, Harlan Davis and Jamie Dingeman repped Comerica. Landlord M-M Properties represented itself in-house with Ken Moczulski, Joel McCarty and Mike Silliman.

EXECS 

David Bateman, a longtime broker out of Florida, joined Hartman Income REIT as director of retail leasing for its retail portfolio. Hartman Income REIT owns and operates 50 properties in DFW, Houston and San Antonio.

SALES 

Vision Commercial’s Scott Lowe and Centurion’s Ben Summer completed the sale of a five-story complex at 1112 East Copeland in Arlington.

Henry S. Miller’s Bill Bledsoe repped J & H Associates in the sale of the former All About Autos & North Hills Body Shop to Steve’s Auto Repair. The 30K SF space is on three acres at 3925 Booth-Calloway Road in Richland Hills.

A North Texas family trust has sold the 103K SF Las Colinas Distribution Center 4 and 5 at 3242 - 3250 North Skyway Circle and 3241 - 3251 West Story Road in Irving to Gretzinger Investment Group. Bradford’s Brian Pafford repped the seller. Younger Partners’ Hahn Franklin-Mitchell repped the buyer. Bradford retained the leasing and property management assignment.

Frontier Equity purchased Hutton Court, a 53K SF industrial office and warehouse at 1920 Hutton Court in Farmers Branch. A Colliers team led by Lizzy Blake repped the seller, Mountain West. The property is 87% occupied.

Euless Always on My Mind sold a 70K SF industrial flex building on 4.1 acres at 1101 Pamela Drive in Euless to JPA Capital. Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors DFW’s Casey Tounget and Theron Bryant repped the seller. The buyer was self-repped.

Engineering consultant GXT leased 21K SF of office space at 1130 Arapaho Road in Richardson. NAI Robert Lynn’s Kent Smith and Leslie Wood repped the tenant. Keith Fisher of Centurion Real Estate Partners repped the landlord.

Medeanalytics Inc. expanded its 25K SF lease at Custer Court at 501 West President George Bush Highway in Richardson. Stream’s Matt Wieser and Ryan Evanich repped the landlord. CBRE’s John Roper repped the tenant.

X Team International and partner Venture Commercial Real Estate completed four leases in Texas on behalf of men’s clothing retailer DestinationXL. Venture’s John Zikos and Jonathan Cooper repped the tenant, Casual Male Retail Store in all four.

  • A 6K SF DestinationXL will open in spring 2018 at the Glade Park Lifestyle Center in Euless. The landlord was repped by Collett Southwest’s Shawn Fullam.
  • A 6K SF store in Allen. The landlord was repped by CBRE’s Andrew Lehner.
  • An 8K SF location in Fort Worth, with landlord representation by DuWest Realty’s Ashley Yessick.
  • A 6K SF location in Amarillo. The landlord was repped by Coldwell Banker’s Justin Kite.
