Building Alert: $107M Addition Coming To Medical City Plano
A new commercial medical building valued at $107M is slated for the Medical City Plano campus at 3901 West 15th St., according to the largest permit for the property filed March 16 and a representative of Medical City Plano.
Additional permits covering a $4.4M addition and a $486K "Hospital bed tower & surgery plumbing pre-site building" were filed March 16 and March 21, respectively, according to BuildZoom. JE Dunn Construction's Josh Meadows filed the permits.
Right now, Medical City Plano is a 493-bed, full-service, acute-care hospital. It is not yet clear how many beds the new hospital bed tower will hold.
No other information is available at this time.
CORRECTION, MAY 2, 1:51 P.M. CT: The valuation of the building addition has been updated; though initial permits BuildZoom provided specified $61M of work, Medical City Plano said the addition will cost $107M.
