Yet another historic infill remodel has opened its doors. This time, it is Dallas developer John Kirtland's $103M remodel of the old Tower Petroleum and the Corrigan Tower. Tower Petroleum is the site of the new Cambria Hotel & Suites, while Corrigan is on its way to becoming an urban-style apartment community.

"We're getting great reviews as slowly but surely people are coming to see it," Cambria Dallas General Manager Lacey Lamm told the Dallas Business Journal. "Cambria is a new upscale brand to Dallas and there's been a lot of curiosity with a lot of people watching it being built."

The 23-story Art Deco hotel features 1,500 SF of meeting space and 177 guest rooms. There are two other Cambria hotels in the metro, one in Plano and one in Southlake, but this is the first within Dallas city limits.
