Marriott Construction Kicks Off At The Canyon In Oak Cliff

Construction is underway for a new four-story, 103-room Marriott Residence Inn at The Canyon in Oak Cliff. The launch of the new hotel is the first step in the development of a 200-acre mixed-use project near I-30 and Westmoreland, according to the Oak Cliff Advocate. The hotel is set to be completed in mid-2017.
When finalized, the Canyon will be an expansive development with 1,000 hotel rooms, 7,500 apartments, 1.2M SF of office space, and 800k SF of retail and restaurants. [OCA]
