The developer broke ground on the office project in early September and plans to move its own headquarters into the building when construction is complete.

The remaining 60K SF will be leased to multiple tenants with Cushman & Wakefield's Chris Taylor and Christy Thelen handling all leasing efforts and assisting with the project's design.

The four-story office build is the latest addition to SilverLake Crossings, a 52-acre development with 400 residential units, 30K SF of retail, dining and 15 acres of park space with nature trails and areas for water sports.

“Our hotels provide travelers with a comfortable, upscale home on the road,” NewcrestImage Chairman and CEO Mehul Patel said.

“Now our proven attention to quality and innovation is creating premium Class-A office space to serve as a signature home for our corporate office, as well as for tenants who value being located in a walkable multi-use neighborhood.”

Currently based in Lewisville, Texas, NewcrestImage owns or manages 28 hotels in 10 states with another 15 properties under construction or in the development phase.

NewcrestImage's SilverLake Crossings development in Grapevine is home to a 702-room hotel campus with six hotel concepts on-site, four of which are still in some stage of construction or development.
