CONSTRUCTION & DEVELOPMENT

The 88k SF Forest Park Medical Center Southlake Medical Office Building topped out. A two-story enclosed connector joins the new MOB with the existing Forest Park Medical Center Southlake hospital, completed by Adolfson & Peterson last year. The project, developed by LandPlan Development and Neal Richards Group, is slated for an August opening.

Stillwater Capital Investments started construction on Stillwater Peak Townhomes & Flats, a 180-home urban community along Peak Street at Lafayette, just east of Uptown.

Nationstar Mortgage Holdings contracted with the Billingsley Co on a build-to-suit in Cypress Waters. It’s the first corporate HQ in the business park. In another Billingsley deal, Monitronics International will be the first office user in the company’s Mercer Business Park. Billingsley will build a 165k SF corporate campus for the company. Cushman & Wakefield’s Rick Hughes and Dean Collins repped Monitronics. The project is scheduled to be complete by summer 2015 and will be designed by Good Fulton & Ferrell.

KDC will develop a 489k SF facility for Raytheon Co at the developer’s 186-acre mixed-use CityLine project in Richardson. Raytheon’s new facility will include three campus-style buildings at the southwest corner of President George Bush Freeway and Wyndham Lane. Construction will begin in summer with completion slated for 2015. HKS is the project architect and Kimley-Horn and Associates is the civil engineer. JLL’s Brad Selner, Stephen Holley, Michael Condon, and Brendan O’Shaughnessy repped Raytheon.

Randall and Sally Weeks purchased a 49k SF industrial building on 15 acres at 2050 Couch Dr in McKinney from International Paper Co. Lee & Associates’ Adam Graham, Mark Graybill, and Scott Giordano repped the seller. The buyer was repped by Citadel Partners’ Jerod Hangartner.

Ridgeline Capital Partners purchased the 43k SF Prairie View Medical Plaza at 4001 Long Prairie Rd in Flower Mound. The building, developed by Caddis Partners, is 97% leased. Caddis will lease and manage the building.

Realty Capital Management sold the almost 17k SF retail building at 9101 Boulevard 26 in North Richland Hills to a local investor. Realty Capital Management’s Mark Boone represented the seller. The purchaser was represented by Carey Cox Co.

DuWest Realty purchased Harvest Plaza, a retail site at 2014 Hwy 78 near Spring Creek Parkway in Wylie. The sale includes 20k SF of retail space and 3.4 acres of land. Bright Realty’s Tim McNutt and Britton Lankford repped the seller. Will Walters repped the buyer.

LEASES

Stream Realty Partners managing director/partner Cannon Green and associate Matt Dornak repped the landlords in three deals including the 26k SF lease at 2750 113th St in Grand Prairie to Avcor Health Care Products. The tenant was repped by Colliers’ David Wetherington and Trey West, while the duo repped the landlord, Prologis. The pair also leased 38k SF to Curt Manufacturing at 1205 Post & Paddock in Grand Prairie. The tenant was reppped by Lee & Associates’ Tom Walrich and Reed Parker, while Cannon and Matt repped landlord, Prologis. They also repped landlord Liberty Property Trust in the 75k SF lease at 2510 W Main St in Grand Prairie to Amerifreight.

U.S. Art Co leased 25k SF at 8401 Chancellor Row in Dallas. Structure Commercial’s Bob Kent negotiated the lease.

Professional Plastics leased 34k SF at 2060 Luna Rd in Carrollton from Billingsley Co. Mike Gravitt and Co’s Mike Gravitt repped the tenant.

EXECUTIVE MOVES

Dan Bartlett, veteran of over 35 years in Texas real estate, joined Morrow Hill as corporate advisor.

David Glasscock joined CBRE, where he'll focus on urban investment properties. He will represent private equity on office, retail, multifamily projects, and land development. David makes the move from Colliers.

Jennifer Reynolds joined The Retail Connection as EVP. She will focus on tenant and landlord representation, project leasing, and national advisory. She comes from Jenco Realty. Jamie Streeter, formerly of Princeton Partners, also joined the company as SVP in brokerage, also specializing in tenant rep and landlord retail project leasing.

CCRE added Robert Krenek as managing director. Robert will focus on loan origination in the Southwest region. He previously served as a director at Wells Fargo Bank.

Cresa Dallas added Evan Stair as VP for site selection and research. He will focus on site selection services, incentive negotiations, and real estate site procurement. He previously worked as a senior location intelligence analyst with JLL.

David Tuttle joined KW Commercial and will work out of the Keller Williams Realty Arlington Market Center. He will continue to focus his efforts on office investment sales transactions throughout North Texas. He comes from his own boutique firm, Tuttle Commercial.

E Smith Realty Partners added Jake Pavelka as VP of retail development and investment sales. Prior to joining E Smith Realty Partners, he was founder and CEO of Texas Realty Acquisitions Partners. (If his named seemed familiar to you, yes, he was also the star of The Bachelor.)
