Exclusive: Who's Got $68M in Projects?
Victory Group has quietly been waves with mixed-use developments over the past few years and just started two more: a $30M, 35k SF mixed-use project next door to Top Golf in The Colony and a $28M 16-acre mixed-use development at Legacy and Warren in Frisco. Here's the scoop about it all from CEO Tony Ramji.
Tony tells us the site shares a property line with Top Golf along the site’s west boundary (which means any golf balls that end up in their yard they get to keep), goes north to Memorial with its south boundary on Hwy 121, and Firestone to the east. The 12-acre tract is the second purchase along Hwy 121 for Victory Group after a 19-acre deal at Hebron and 121. There is a 30k SF furniture space ready for lease and there will be another 20k SF of retail, four pad sites along 121, and one hotel site that Victory Group plans to develop and retain.
Victory Group also started construction on a 16-acre mixed-use development named Victory at Stonebriar (pictured, a little naked with the construction) at the northwest corner of Legacy and Warren. The development will include 60k SF of office and medical, 30k SF of retail, and four pad sites of which three have been sold. Pad purchasers include Black Walnut Café, Stephen’s Cleaners, and Racetrac. He tells us the luxury office and medical space should appeal to physicians who live nearby and want offices near the Baylor hospital. This project should open by Q3.
