Grocery, Shopping And Dining Coming To Agrihood Development In Argyle
Hillwood Development Co. is preparing to break ground on a huge retail center north of Fort Worth.
The developer has filed permits with the state to begin construction on Harvest Town Center, a mixed-use development that will include shopping, restaurants, a grocery store and multifamily, according to a site plan.
The first five buildings will span 98K SF and cost $21M to construct, according to the filings. The largest is a 63K SF Tom Thumb.
The project is located within Harvest by Hillwood, a 1,200-acre master-planned community spanning the Denton County cities of Argyle and Northlake. The development is marketed by Hillwood as an “agrihood” and includes an on-site farm and orchard.
Hillwood plans to break ground on the first five retail buildings in June, permits show. Chick-fil-A has also filed plans for a location set to open later this year.
