WestBend Development Expands With New Trademark Acquisition
Trademark Property snapped up 3.5 acres adjacent to the 278k SF WestBend mixed-use development in University District. A Hawthorne Suites hotel occupies the land, but that's about to change.
Plans for the property include additional mixed-use space featuring ground-floor retail with either a signature hotel or multifamily and condo units above, according to GlobeSt. The aim is to be a go-to destination in Fort Worth with bike racks, upgraded landscaping, valet, free parking and outdoor seating.
WestBend is also getting a new Tyler’s, which is opening its first Fort Worth property at the development, and Drybar, slated to open this spring. Other tenants include CorePower Yoga, Woodhouse Day Spa, Pax & Parker, Zoë’s Kitchen, East Hampton Sandwich Co and Silver Fox. [GS]
