DART keeps chugging along with the expansion of the light rail system to the University of North Texas' recently created Dallas campus. Beginning on Oct. 24, DART Rail will operate on 93 miles and 64 stations, making it the longest light rail system in the country.

In addition to the new light rail stations at Camp Wisdom and UNT Dallas, several bus routes (including routes 415 and 516) will be added or changed to accommodate the new Blue Line stations.

The more than $100M project broke ground in October 2014 and has been heavily supported by the college. Nearly 3,000 students attend UNT Dallas.

Changes in Ledbetter Station's feeder bus routes, TRE frequency and departures and Arlington MAX route will also debut on Oct. 24. In response to rider comments, the Dallas Streetcar will start service at 5:30am beginning on Oct. 24.
